I’ve always been a bit skeptical about Toners. Is it really necessary to have a step in between cleansing and moisturising? I remember the very first Toner I tried was one of those supermarket brands aimed at teenage acne. My skin burned like crazy after applying it. Needless to say, that experience put me off toners for a while.
As I got older, and my skin got drier, I discovered hydrating toners. They were always very gentle and it actually felt like they were actually doing something good for my skin.
I was delighted to be given the opportunity to try the Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr Balancing Rose Mist because it contains some of my favourite natural skincare ingredients, rose and aloe vera. I was also curious to try something from model and wellness-enthusiast Miranda Kerr’s skincare line.
According to a media statement from Kora Organics founder Miranda Kerr, “we use the purest, highest quality, active certified organic, natural ingredients and formulate them to work strategically to maximise results, unleashing the body’s ability to heal.”
The Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr Balancing Rose Mist has an incredibly refreshing floral fragrance, which reminds me of spring. The bottle’s spray function allows it to be applied to the skin in a gentle mist and leaves my face filling silky-smooth, the perfect base for moisturiser. It’s toners like this that make me think that having an extra skincare step in-between cleansing and moisturising is worth it after all.
Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr Balancing Rose Mist retails for $39.95 in Australia and is available from selected chemists and online at www.koraorganics.com.
