Will I be seeing YOU at Melbourne’s biggest hair and beauty exhibition?

Salon Melbourne is the most renowned hair and beauty expo in Victoria. An annual event since 2010, Salon Melbourne is a must on the calendars of many beauty industry professionals and students. On Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd March 2015, the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre will be bustling with over 250 exhibitors and three stages of educational and entertaining industry demonstrations. For the first time at Salon Melbourne, there will also be a live “Definition of Fashion” competition hosted by HBIA.
Last year, I had serious F.O.M.O (fear of missing out) when pictures of my beauty blogger friends having an amazing time at Salon Melbourne flooded social media. I am so excited to be attending the event this year and I can’t wait to share my experience with you all via my Instagram account as well as a recap post after the event.
As there is so much to see and do at Salon Melbourne, and it is my first time attending, I don’t went to get overwhelmed and miss anything. Luckily the event organisers have made planning your visit easy through the event planner feature on their website. The Salon Melbourne team have also developed a free app which you can download via the App Store on your iPhone. The user-friendly app allows you to browse the list of exhibitors and the demonstration program. You can even save exhibitors and/or sessions to a ‘Favourites’ list to help keep you focused on the day. I always seem to get lost at exhibitions so I am very relieved that the app also includes a detailed map.

Can you guess which exhibitors made my ‘Favourites’ list? I can’t wait to visit the BabeScrub, Bio Sculpture Gel, Klara Cosmetics and Makeupnet stands. I’m sure I’ll also discover lots of new brands to explore as well.

As a big fan of the hit reality show ‘The Real Housewives of Melbourne,’ I can’t wait to see one of the stars Gina Liano grace the Main stage, with tanning industry advocate Andrea Taylor. Together, Liano and Taylor will be demonstrating how to build a glamorous life.
